Hire a room and access information
All rooms in the Church, Wesleys, and The Fold are: available for hire, accessible, close to accessible toilets and have free wifi. Some rooms have multi-media capability.
Baildon Methodist Church is an Eco-Congregation so, if you hire a room, you can be confident that we are working on your behalf to minimise carbon emissions by using electricity from renewable energy sources, installing insulation and introducing automatic heating controls. Our newest building, The Fold, opened in November 2019 and was designed from day one to be energy-efficient and sustainable.
A plus for room users is that you can eat and meet before or after your event in our community cafe – Wesleys. The cafe serves meals at lunchtime and light refreshments from 10 am to 3 pm.
Parking at the church is very limited. Street parking is available all around but time-limited before 6 pm Mon to Sat. The village car-park is a 5 minute walk away.

This room has a 48 inch multimedia screen to which a laptop or phone can be connected for showing videos or power-point presentations. Window blinds provide partial blackout. The room is suitable for discussions, away-days, and craft activities. Carpeted and accessible. Accessible toilets very close.

With a wooden sprung floor, this is an excellent space for drama, dance, physical activities, table tennis. Set with chairs and tables, Epworth can seat 80 people for a coffee morning, dining area, or post wedding reception.

A cozy relaxed room open 11 am to 2 pm for Wesleys Cafe users and bookable (outside those hours on weekdays), Saturday, and Sunday after 12 pm. This room is accessible and carpeted.

Wesleys café

Our 5-star cafe that serves snacks and cakes 10 am to 3 pm and 3-course affordable meals 12 till 1.30 pm. Seats are not bookable. If you think you might want to meet as a small private group regularly or would like to use the cafe area during an evening you can book the Wesleys Cafe Alcove. As a cafe seats up to 70 people, As an interval refreshments area up to 100. Chairs and seating may be re-arranged/removed for special events.
