A warm and welcoming space
Wesleys is officially a 'Warm and Welcoming Space', registered with and supported by Bradford Council.
You are welcome to use our café space between 10.00 and 15.00 each weekday to save on energy costs at home, and to meet your friends. Free wifi is available.
For a free hot or cold drink at any time when the café is open, and/or a free soup and roll between 12.00 and 13.30, just pick up a token (available near both doors) and present it at the café hatch.
Community Pantry
The Community Pantry is located in the lobby adjacent to Newton Way. Anyone who needs 'food for today' is welcome to help themselves: no questions asked.
For anyone with longer term financial issues, information is provided about how to access local advice services. The Community Pantry offers a range of tinned and packeted food, drinks, toiletries, and baby products. We rely on the donations of those members of Baildon Methodist Church and visitors to Wesleys who are able to make a contribution.
Free lunch
We offer a free lunch meal for parents and children in school holidays.
We are pleased to offer a free meal for families whose children have free school meals in term time, or who otherwise find themselves without adequate food resources in the school holidays.
