In line with Government and Methodist Church guidance, and for the protection of the health and wellbeing of our community during the Covid-19 virus epidemic, we have decided today that the premises and all activities at Baildon Methodist Church and Wesleys will close as from the end of today, Wednesday 18 March 2020. We are of course very sad about this decision.
This means that there will be no Sunday services or any weekday activities on the premises until further notice. Please share this information by telephone with anyone who you know who will not receive this message electronically. If you need to contact a Minister, please ring 0845 6060820.
If you have an enquiry, we are setting up an email at email@example.com this should be live from 8.00am on Thursday 19 March, and somebody will get back to you.
Perhaps you would like us to arrange for a friendly volunteer to ring you from time to time, if you are on your own. If you would like someone to pray with you over the phone, this can be arranged. We will do our best to link you to practical assistance with shopping or prescriptions.
We are working closely with Baildon Community Link, who are co-ordinating offers of help and seeking to meet needs as they arise. To contact Baildon Community Link directly, ring 01274 588681.
Donations of food for people in need of food assistance can be left in the porch at Baildon Community Link, the Age UK shop on Westgate, or at the Co-op.
We look forward to being able to send out much better news before too long, and to bring our Church family and Wesleys community back together, face to face, once again. Until then, please follow Government advice about protecting your health and that of others, and keep up contacts and friendships by using the phone, emails, and social media.
Thanks for joining us @Wesleys!
