Café @Wesleys

The café @Wesleys is at the heart of the Baildon community, serving drinks, snacks, lunches and cake every weekday.

We are open Monday to Friday from 10am until 3pm with hot lunches served from 12:00pm to 1:30pm, and Saturday morning from 10am until midday for coffee and cakes.

We take our responsibilities in the wider community seriously which is why we are a Fairtrade café. Why not meet your friends for a tea and cake, call in after a walk, or join us for lunch?

Volunteering in Wesleys is so rewarding, I've made so many lovely friends here.Diana, Wesleys volunteer

Wesleys has two cooks, Lynne and Mary, supported by a team of 75 cheerful volunteers, most of whom give up 2 hours of their time once a week, once a fortnight or once a month. Their duties involve taking orders or preparing salads and sandwiches and serving drinks and snacks.

New volunteers are always welcome, no experience is necessary – just a smile and a willingness to ‘muck in’. If you love being with other people and would like to serve your community please consider joining the happiest workforce in the district.

A welcoming environment for everyone

The café @Wesleys aims to be a welcoming and accessible environment for everyone.

Local guide dog puppy walkers bring their dogs in to our cafe every week. It's a great place for them to learn to socialise, and to be taught to behave in a public place (which they do!).

We have a dedicated children's play area with a selection of toys and games. Breastfeeding is encouraged in the café and throughout the building. We can lend you a potty and will happily warm a bottle.

We have indoor and outdoor seating, so on a sunny day you can relax on our patio and enjoy the view of the rooftops of Baildon.

The whole building is wheelchair accessible. We have some parking close to the building and several disabled spaces. Free wifi is also available.
