Modern society places untold demands on our emotional health causing tension, stress, and anxiety. So, as a registered nurse and a counsellor I am passionate about not only keeping physically healthy but keeping our minds healthy also. The amazing postures in these classes will leave you feeling supple, stretched, strengthened and toned. Breathing exercises (pranayama) will initiate the parasympathetic nervous system lowering your heart rate and blood pressure, relaxing your muscles, and clearing your mind. A deep relaxation at the end of each session will leave you feeling physically, emotionally, and energetically stronger – ready for anything that life throws your way!
Mats and all equipment are provided but please free to bring your own. Please wear comfortable clothing and bring some water if you wish.
